"mistake" in believing that banks, operating in their own
self-interest, would do what was necessary to protect their
shareholders and institutions. Greenspan called that "a flaw in the

I wrote in 2006 that this way of living leads to perpetual debt, willing wage slavery, unsustainable consumption, and the eventual destruction of value creation. And that was generally received like a lead balloon. Hoots and "what do you know" and the like..."capitalism is the greatest thing in the history of mankind, creating the greatest wealth for the middle class in history" - I was thoroughly chided. Well wake up and smell the coffee. Any system based on self interest is not something that we should count on! I was right then and I'm right now. You need to know what's coming and why!
